Delete your leli account

Deletion is permanent. There is no grace period and no recovery — once you confirm, your identity is removed from leli immediately. Please read what happens before you start.

In the app (preferred)

  1. Open leli and sign in.
  2. Go to You → Delete account.
  3. Read the warning, then confirm by typing DELETE and re-verifying with Google or Apple. Your account is removed as soon as you confirm.

By email (if you can’t open the app)

Email hello@aaroora.com from the address (Google or Apple) you use to sign in to leli, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify it’s you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we delete

  • Your name, photo, phone, city, and location.
  • Your saved sports, push tokens, and notifications.
  • Your team memberships (the teams themselves stay for other members).
  • Your KYC record and any personal preferences.
  • Your ability to sign back in. Signing in later with the same Google or Apple ID creates a brand-new account with none of your prior history.

What stays, with your identity removed

  • Matches and tournaments you played in — your line reads “Deleted user.” The result stays so opponents’ and teammates’ records are correct.
  • Chat messages you sent — the message survives so the conversation still makes sense to other participants, but your name is removed.
  • Bookings, payments, and payouts — retained in an anonymised form because Indian tax and accounting rules require us to keep these financial records for seven years. They can no longer be traced back to your identity.

Why we sometimes ask you to wait

leli refuses to delete your account while doing so would affect someone else’s activity. If any of the following apply, you’ll be asked to resolve them first:

  • You have upcoming bookings you made, or upcoming bookings on grounds you own.
  • You are running a tournament that is currently accepting registrations or in play.
  • You are the sole captain of a team that has other members.
  • You have an in-flight payout.

These aren’t obstacles to keep you around — they exist so we never quietly cancel other people’s bookings, tournament entries, or payouts on your behalf.
